The Margot Corner

Hello Margot fans! Earlier this morning, our girl was a guest at The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote ‘I, Tonya‘. Of all her talk show appearances lately, this has got to be my favorite! They discussed her first meeting with Ellen (keywords: Tahiti, former president Obama, her husband’s super short shorts), how she got injured during ‘I, Tonya’ filming but had to suck it up because she was also the producer, and Tonya Harding. She also participated in an adorable contest with fellow Aussie Chris Hemsworth, were they faced off in the battle of The Best Aussie! The Ellen Show is always a joy to watch, and Margot and Chris were just hilarious. Make sure to watch the clips below!

Once you’ve watched the videos, make sure to head over to our gallery for high definition screen captures from the episode. The Margot and Chris ones in costume are adorable beyond words!

Earlier this morning, Sony Pictures released an adorable featurette where we get to hear Margot talk about her character Flopsy in the upcoming Peter Rabbit Movie! The featurette is titled “Meet Flopsy”, and we finally get the first clips of Margot’s character with voice. Check out the clip below, and head over to our gallery for the super cute screen captures.

In addition to the new clip, 5 official posters have been released as well. None of these feature Margot unfortunately, but I have added them to our gallery for those who still want to check them out. The film will hit theaters on February 16.

As we know, NEON recently acquired the rights of ‘I,Tonya‘ and yesterday, they launched the official website for the movie, as well as revealing a new teaser trailer and promotional stills of the movie. On the official site, the synopsis reads as:

Based on the unbelievable but true events, I, TONYA is a darkly comedic tale of American figure skater, Tonya Harding, and one of the most sensational scandals in sports history. Though Harding was the first American woman to complete a triple axel in competition, her legacy was forever defined by her association with an infamous, ill-conceived, and even more poorly executed attack on fellow Olympic competitor Nancy Kerrigan. Featuring an iconic turn by Margot Robbie as the fiery Harding, a mustachioed Sebastian Stan as her impetuous ex-husband Jeff Gillooly, a tour-de-force performance from Allison Janney as her acid-tongued mother, LaVona Golden, and an original screenplay by Steven Rogers, Craig Gillespie’s I, TONYA is an absurd, irreverent, and piercing portrayal of Harding’s life and career in all of its unchecked––and checkered––glory.

The site also posted a bunch of new promotional images of Margot as Tonya Harding. I have added these to the gallery. I have also made screencaps of the new teaser trailer as well as adding a promotional poster advertising the video.

I have added HQ screencaptures to the gallery, and below you can watch the video. An earlier post on the site provides details of Margot’s W Magazine photoshoot and magazine.

Hello Margot fans! You all probably remember that we announced Margot was the new ambassador for Nissan Electric Vehicles back in February. A new promotional campaign for their Nissan Leaf have been released, and we have the first photos and video! Despite her long hair showing it was filmed a while back, it was first released for the Nissan’s Futures 3.0 Event held in Oslo, Norway on October 2 (stay tuned for more information on this event later today). I have added the photoshoot and screen captures from the video to our gallery, and you can check out the video below.

Nissan is proud to return with a new and exciting video starring our ambassador for Electric Vehicles and Intelligent Mobility, actress Margot Robbie. One question remains though, which world record is she about to set? It’s up to you to watch and find out.
Margot Robbie is supporting three new sustainability pilot projects that aim to harness the skills, ingenuity and experience of Nissan’s global workforce to target the vital areas of energy access and disaster relief.

From flat screens to smartphones, home energy storage to smart cars, the world is turning electric. Yet still around 1.3 billion people live without access to the power the rest of us take for granted. So, actor Margot Robbie is teaming up with Nissan to help build brighter, electric future for everyone.

The Independent has posted an exclusive video, detailing a behind the scenes look of the real life inspiration of Chrisopher Robin. Many people are familiar of the characters of Christopher, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger but the movie itself delves into the story of how those characters were created by A.A. Milne and the inspiration of his son.

The Independent posted this short article alongside the video:

We all know the Christopher Robin who populates the pages of A.A. Milne’s book, the friend to many creatures of the Hundred-Acre Wood.

But what of the real Christopher Robin? More precisely, Christopher Robin Milne, or as his family would often call him, Billy Moon. As a boy, Christopher Robin was gifted a teddy bear he named Edward; this toy, alongside a real Canadian bear named Winnipeg Milne saw at the London Zoo, became the inspiration for Winnie-the-Pooh.

Read the article in it’s entirety here.

I have added screencaps of Margot’s scenes in the video, where she chats about the actor Will Tilston who plays her on-screen son, Christopher.

Other news in relation to the movie, is that it shall also be presented at 53rd Chicago International Film Festival, as well as the Hamptons International Film Festival. It shall be screened on the 13th October at 6.00pm. More information can be found here.

The video can be found under the cut due to autoplay.
