Hello Margot fans! Our girl is currently in London shooting Untitled A.A. Milne Project but that doesn’t mean she’s not promoting other projects! Glamour UK spoke with Margot on the phone about the new Calvin Klein fragrance, which she’s the face of and many other things that you can read bellow!
We have a confession: interviewing celebrities on the telephone can sometimes be really really dull. You can’t get the banter going, and having the celebrity’s undivided attention is totally out of your control. So it’s fair to say that GLAMOUR’s Leanne Bayley didn’t have huge expectations when she recently dialled Margot Robbie for a phone chat on a Saturday afternoon. Was the Suicide Squad star a disappointment? Hell no. Was she chatty, amazing and totally cool? 100 percent YES.
Hi Margot, first off – I’m very jealous of you because you got to hang out with a lot of male models on the deep euphoria Calvin Klein advertising campaign shoot. Did you have any pre-shoot nerves?
Only a little bit in the sense that photoshoots aren’t really my forte, I’ve never done modelling, I feel at home on a film set. I’m just so familiar with sets and how they work that when we did the video campaign for the deep euphoria shoot I felt much more at home than just the photoshoot aspect of it. Photoshoots kind of make me nervous but the video side of it I didn’t feel nervous. We had Francis Lawrence directing it so I knew that we’d be talking in the same way.
I love that the deep euphoria advertising campaign is based on the morning after the night before – what’s the wildest night you’ve ever been on in real life?
Good question. I’ve had some wild ones. We did talk about that a lot, the nights that keep going until the sun comes up and then still a group of you in a hotel room or like apartment and you’re still drinking and you’re still chatting. I love that so much, I love those kind of nights that blend into the next morning.
We had a pretty big night after the Suicide Squad press. It was Cara’s birthday and she had this massive party at Suki’s house and it was just an outrageous party. But it was sweet too. Yeah, the party was fun but everyone’s favourite bit was when the sun’s coming up and you’ve got your closest friends, the squad there chatting and the sun’s coming up and everyone knows they should go home and shower and stuff but no one wants to leave each other because, it’s just good times all the time – sitting on a roof top until like midday.
Hello Margot fans! Warner Bros. has just announced that Suicide Squad will be getting its extended cut, which will feature a lot of scenes we saw Margot shoot (just like the one where she’s got a blue shirt and is waiting for The Joker) but didn’t made it to the final cut. It will be avaliable on Digital HD 11/15 and Blu-ray 12/13!

Hello Margot fans! USA Today released yesterday the very first photos from the Untitled A.A. Milne Project, the Winnie-the-Pooh author biopic. In one of them we get a glimpse at Margot’s character Daphne Milne, as she stands close to her husband A.A. Milne, portrayed by Domhnall Gleeson. The movie started filming about two weeks ago, in England. More information about the movie can be found bellow.
Domhnall Gleeson is trading the evil of General Hux for the kid-friendly charm of Winnie-the-Pooh.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Gleeson plays British children’s author A.A. Milne in an upcoming biopic based on the life of the beloved teddy bear’s creator. USA TODAY has the first look at stills from the as yet untitled Fox Searchlight movie — which started filming in England two weeks ago — featuring Gleeson, Margot Robbie (who veers far from Harley Quinn as wife Daphne Milne) and newcomer Will Tilston (as little Christopher Robin).
With the working title of The Untitled A.A. Milne Project — though, honestly, we dug the original Goodbye Christopher Robin handle — the movie centers on the father/son relationship between Milne and Christopher Robin, whose stuffed toys inspired Milne to create the magical world of Pooh Bear, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest of the gang that inhabited the books Winnie-the-Pooh in 1926 and The House at Pooh Corner two years later. The tomes took England by storm following World War I, but also overshadowed all of Milne’s previous works and put an international spotlight on the family and their nanny Olive (Kelly Macdonald).
Saturday Night Live season 42 premiere is only 3 days away and we can’t wait to see Margot host the american late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show! Hello Margot fans! Margot is currently in London before heading to New York for Saturday Night Live and she’s out and telling all her beauty secrets. Vogue got to catch up with our favorite Aussie about skincare, travel, fragrance and her favorite places to go in London and you can read all about it bellow. Enjoy!
I always start by cleansing in the shower – I don’t do too many steps because I genuinely don’t have that much time, but I’m anal-retentive about having really clean skin. Especially with my job, where they just layer make-up on and on and on. One brand I’m obsessed with right now is this brand Skin111, which my make-up artist Patti Dubroff got me hooked on. They have these sheet masks, they’re made out of a jelly sort of stuff and the serum they’re soaked in is so good. So when we’re getting ready for an event she’ll put one of those on while she’s doing my hair. At the moment at night I’m using a Dr. Lancer cleanser and a La Prairie moisturiser. No matter how drunk I am I absolutely will not go to bed with my make-up on, I will not.
For everyday I use either Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser or Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation mixed in with some moisturiser, or if I go to events I use Suqqu Foundation. That shit doesn’t come off. It looks like skin, but it doesn’t budge. I haven’t found another foundation that stays on like that without looking heavy. Patti also taught me that on your bottom lashes you should use eyelash tint rather than mascara so I’ll do that if I’m out for dinner with friends or whatever. And I’ll always brush my brows, sometimes I use pencil too. Then it’s just mascara and a bit of cream blush. For a little lip colour I’ll just use the tinted lip balms by Burt’s Bees.
