Hello Margot fans! More great news have been announced– after yesterday’s report that Margot had signed a first-look deal with Warner Bros. today it was announced that Terminal has been sold around the world! Highland Film Group was the company to handle the sales at Toronto International Film Festival. The Hollywood Reporter was the one to break the news, and you can read the article bellow.

Vaughn Stein’s Terminal, starring Margot Robbie, has sold out around the world.

Highland Film Group handled international sales on the noir thriller, which also stars Simon Pegg, Max Irons, Dexter Fletcher and Mike Myers, at the Toronto Film Festival. CAA is handling domestic rights.

The film, which recently wrapped principal photography, sold in the following territories: Australia (Pasatiempo Pictures), CIS (Mauris), Eastern Europe (Pasatiempo Pictures), France (Metropolitan), Germany (Square One), Greece (Tanweer), Hong Kong (Panorama), Iceland (Sam Film), Italy (IIF), Korea (Pasatiempo Pictures), Latin America (Swen), Malaysia (Mega Film), Middle East (ECS), Portugal (Cinemundo), Taiwan (Cai Chang), Turkey (Fabula), Scandinavia (Mis Label), the UK (Icon), Pan Asia TV (FOX), the Philippines (ABS, CBN), South Africa (Pasatiempo Pictures), and Vietnam (MVP).

Terminal follows two hit-men (Fletcher and Irons) who head out on a borderline suicide mission for a mysterious employer and a high paycheck. Along the way, the unlikely pair come across a dynamic woman (Robbie) that may be more involved than they had originally suspected.

Robbie, who most recently starred in Suicide Squad, also produced Terminal alongside Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr under their LuckyChap Entertainment banner. David Barron of BeaglePug Molly Hassell, and HFG’s Arianne Fraser also are producing. HFG arranged financing with Ingenious Media, RuYi Media and Miscellaneous Entertainment. Executive producers are John Jencks, D. Todd Shepherd, Joe Simpson, George Waud, Shelley Madison, Charles Auty, Simon Williams, Delphine Perrier and Henry Winterstern.

Warner Bros. loves Margot Robbie. That is a fact as it has just been announced that Margot has signed a first-look deal with the studios to develop and produce feature movies through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner! For those of you who might be confused, LuckyChap Entertainment is a production company owned by Margot, Tom Ackerley, Josey Mcnamara and Sophia Kerr. You can check out our page dedicated to the production company for more information. The Hollywood Reporter was the one to break the news, and you can read their article bellow!

Margot Robbie is setting down roots at Warner Bros.

The Aussie actress is signing a first-look deal with the studio behind her summer Suicide Squad to develop and produce feature films through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner.

Robbie, whose breakout performance came in Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wall Street, is only 26 years old but has quickly grasped control of her career in a way few actors, especially female actors, do, steadily wading into the world of producing.

She is in post on her first movie as a producer, the upcoming neo noir thriller Terminal. Robbie is also developing and producing a Tonya Harding biopic, I, Tonya, where she will play the disgraced figure skater, and developing an adaptation of Bad Monkeys, a novel by Matt Ruff with Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuberand Dylan Clark for Universal Pictures.

Warners has built a relationship with the actress, who has starred in Focus and The Legend of Tarzan for the studio before becoming one of the key factors why Suicide Squad grossed over $700 million worldwide.

The actress already has two projects set at Warners — a Suicide Squad spinoff for her character Harley Quinn (as well as other DC heroines) that she will executive produce, and an adaptation of Dean N. Jensen’s Queen of the Air, to which she is attached to star.

The first-look deal underlines Warners’ renewed focus on female-driven storytelling and comes after some notables moves from the Burbank-based studio.

It created the Warner Bros. Emerging Film Directors Workshop earlier this year as a program to increase female voices, among other under-represented sectors, and was spearheaded by the studio’s president, creative development and worldwide production Greg Silverman.
