Fantastic news, Margot fans! News about the Harley Quinn spin-off movie have been released and looks like it’s going to be an All-Female DC Villains movie!!! The statement was released by The Hollywood Reporter, and while we don’t have the confirmation about what other villains will be joining Harley  there’s a high possibility we’ll see Poison Ivy and Catwoman in the big screen! You can read all about it bellow.

David Ayer is back in the business of DC comics villains.

The filmmaker, who directed Warner Bros.’ all-bad guy comic book movie Suicide Squad, is reuniting with that film’s star, Margot Robbie, for Gotham City Sirens, a feature project that will showcase the top female villains from the DC stable, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Ayer will direct and produce the project with Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn, the part-time girlfriend of the Joker who is currently DC’s most popular female character. Robbie is also executive producing.

Sirens was a recent comic series from DC that focused on the popular villainesses from Batman’s rogue gallery. Among them were Quinn, Catwoman, Batman’s sometime love interest, and Poison Ivy, who uses plants and their toxins to get what she wants.

Geneva Robertson-Dworet, a top female writer in the action sphere who has also penned scripts for the Tomb Raider remake and Warners’ own Sherlock Holmes 3, is writing the screenplay.

The heads of DC’s film arm, Geoff Johns and Jon Berg, will also be involved in a producorial role.

Suicide Squad was a tough production and the movie underwent some reshoots but it all turned out fine for all parties involved as the movie grossed over $745.6 million global. It is now the 13th highest-grossing superhero release of all-time domestically and has surpassed the international box office of Deadpool, a movie to which it was often compared to in terms of tone.

The studio is still developing a Squad sequel as well as looking into a spin-off featuring Deadshot, the assassin character played by Will Smith. But this project was the most furthest along, and with Robbie’s Quinn having received near universal praise from Squad, this was the most natural project for Ayer with which to make his Warners return. The filmmaker is currently nearing the end of principal photography for Bright, his fantasy thriller for Netflix that stars Will Smith and Joel Edgerton.

Warner doesn’t have a release date for Sirens but the project is now on the fast-track.

Hello Margot fans! We have two great news to share with you! As you know, Critics Choice Awards happened yesterday in which Margot won the award for Best Actress in an Action Movie for her role in Suicide Squad. Our favorite Aussie did not attend the ceremony as she’s currently preparing herself for her upcoming role– Tonya Harding. Speaking of, Deadline has released exclusive information that Miramax has acquired U.S distribution rights to I, Tonya!

Miramax has acquired U.S. distribution rights to I, Tonya, the drama that has Margot Robbie set to play disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding. Craig Gillespie is directing. Deadline first revealed in May that Robbie would play Harding, and the project picked up steam around AFM, when AI Film signed on to finance the Steven Rogers script. The Aussie actress might have to brush up on her figure skating moves, but there is a portion of the program here she proved adept at as the bad girl in Suicide Squad. Harding emerged from a poor upbringing and rough childhood in Portland, OR to rise to the top of the sport of figure skating with determination and athleticism that allowed her to become the first American woman to complete the triple axel in major competitions. She won the 1991 U.S. Figure Skating Championships and second in the World Championships, and was set for a showdown against fellow American skater Nancy Kerrigan. The fairy tale turned nightmarish, after Kerrigan was attacked by thugs who tried to break her leg. It turned out the culprit was Harding’s husband, who implicated his wife as he tried to stay out of jail. Kerrigan wound up winning the silver medal at that Olympics, and the completely distracted Harding finished eighth as her life was circling the drain. As the ensuing scandal unfolded, the USFSA stripped Harding of her 1994 championship and banned her for life.

Clubhouse Pictures’ Bryan Unkeless, LuckyChap’s Robbie and Tom Ackerly, and Rogers are producing, while AI’s Len Blavatnik and Aviv Giladi are exec producers. UTA Independent Film Group and CAA brokered the deal. Miramax head of film &TV Zanne Devine spearheaded it for the distributor and Rosanne Korenberg is overseeing the film for Miramax.

Miramax confirmed. Said Robbie: “The script is unbelievable, it’s unlike anything I’ve read before and I know Craig’s approach with the material and the characters will be executed brilliantly. Tom and I at LuckyChap are so grateful to partner with Bryan for what will hopefully be the first of many jobs together.”

Margot sat down with Harpers Bazaar hours before her appearance at the Gotham Film Awards to speak about favorite looks, beauty, fitness and her upcoming role as Tonya Harding in I, Tonya. The magazine has released on their website the interview, which you can read bellow!

Coming off the success of Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie is gearing up for her next big role as the infamous figure skater Tonya Harding in the biopic I, Tonya. But first, she has to learn how to shred some serious ice. We caught up with the Australian actress and face of Calvin Klein’s Deep Euphoria scent to discuss all things beauty and fitness just a few hours before she presented at the 2016 Gotham Film Awards.

HB: What has been your favorite red carpet beauty look so far?

MR: The Suicide Squad premiere in New York. I wore the McQueen unicorn dress and had the dark lip. That was by far my favorite.

HB: It was such a departure for you.

MR: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I always dress kind of monochromatic and very simple and all that kind of stuff. I saw that dress and I was like, it has a goddamn unicorn on it. I have to wear it. It’s the dopest thing I’ve ever seen.

HB: When you’re not with your glam squad, is there anything you’re good at doing yourself?

MR: I feel like I’m pretty good at doing my own makeup. I’ve watched a lot of people do my makeup, so I’ve been able to gauge what looks good and what doesn’t. I can do my makeup with three products and that’s done.

HB: What about your hair?

MR: I’ve got really shit hair so it’s kind of hard to do my hair well. I really need a hairstylist to do my hair if it’s going to look good. I have like three hairs left on my head. A hairstylist will come in and put all this fake hair in and it looks luscious and amazing. And I’m like, god, I feel a thousand times better. People are always like, ‘How do you have such healthy hair?’ I’m like, I don’t. My hair is snapped off, it’s shit, it’s gone, but hairstylists have suitcases full of fake hair and they make it look amazing.

Vanity Fair has released six videos, and we bring you two of them that feature Margot. “Mostly, I miss my best friend; we were like sisters. We would talk on the phone for hours when we weren’t at school together. I don’t know where she is now.” are some of the words Margot narrates.

The Coveteur has also published an interview they did with Margot when she attended the Gotham Awards this Monday. She talks about Calvin Klein, Beauty, and much more that you can read bellow!

We’re guessing this has been said before, but Margot Robbie may just be one of the most down-to-earth actors we’ve had the opportunity to interview. Not to mention that she’s even prettier and nicer IRL than you could possibly expect. We say all this because, as you can imagine, we were kind of nervous when we found ourselves heading uptown to meet with Robbie on the Monday after Thanksgiving, when our turkey brain was still in full effect. But all of that dissipated the moment we arrived to find her lounging barefoot on the couch, recounting the tale of showing up to her friend’s Thanksgiving with Jägerbombs in tow. Yeah, we told you she was chill.

We were there primarily to chat with Robbie about being named the latest face of Calvin Klein’s fragrance, deep euphoria, but couldn’t help but ask her about everything from her in-flight beauty advice and go-to dry shampoo, to ginger shots and shower beers. You could say it was a well-rounded conversation. Fast-forward to later that evening, as we put on our fanciest and headed out to join Robbie and Calvin Klein at a star-studded awards dinner celebrating IFP’s Gotham Awards—basically the Oscars of independent film, which brings light to what are sure to be the best movies of the year. All in all, it was definitely the most glamorous Monday we’ve had in a while. Or ever.

On celebrating American Thanksgiving:

“My friends and I are like orphans in L.A., so we jumped on someone else’s Thanksgiving dinner and it ended up being far more extravagant [than we expected]. We thought it was just going to be the five of us getting drunk, so we brought Jägerbombs, but there were kids at the table! We were like, ‘Okay! We’re gonna hide this bottle of Jäger.’ Because clearly, this is not the kind of Thanksgiving we are at. Of course, the Australians show up at this lovely family affair ready to get drunk, right? It was really, really nice though. We were thinking Jägerbombs to wrap up the evening, kind of counteract the sleepiness of the turkey.”

Hello Margot fans! W magazine has published an interview with Margot, where she speaks about her love for hockey, Calvin Klein and her upcoming role– Tonya Harding. You can read all about it bellow!

Actress Margot Robbie always chooses a signature fragrance for each character she plays. Right now, though, she’s wearing the peppery rose and jasmine scent Calvin Klein Deep Euphoria, and that suits her fine in real life. In her next role, as the legendary figure skater Tonya Harding, who is best known for her involvement in attacking fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan at the Olympics, she may have to find something more suitable. For now, she’s concentrating on mastering her triple salchow, and attending Rangers games for inspiration.

I saw you on the Madison Square Garden Jumbotron last night.
Were you at the Rangers game?

No, my husband was watching. He said, “Honey, there’s Margot Robbie.” And I thought, Good opener
Every time we go to a game, at the start, my agent always reminds me, “You know they photograph you at the game, so just remember that.” So, I’m like, “Keep it cool, it’s all good.” That lasts for the first two periods, but by the third period, I’m just like “ARGH!” I just get so into it. And then I saw the pictures today, and I’m like, “I look like a psychopath. Great.”

But you’re a big hockey fan and you play right wing?
Yeah. I don’t want to be misleading and make you think I’m really good at ice hockey. I’m terrible, but I really like it.
