We finally have an official confirmation – ‘I, Tonya’ gets a 2017 release date, qualifying it for the next year’s awards race! The film will open in New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 8, with a platform rollout that will continue into January. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news a couple of minutes ago, and you can read it in full below. I have also replaced one of the portraits Margot did for them during the Toronto Film Festival with a high quality version – check it out here.

The Hollywood Reporter – The upstart distributor Neon will open the film in New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 8, with a platform rollout continuing into January. I, Tonya, Craig Gillespie’s hilarious and devastating Tonya Harding biopic, is officially joining the race to the 90th Oscars, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The film, which stars Margot Robbie (who also is one of its producers), had its world premiere on Sept. 8 at the Toronto International Film Festival, where, three days later, it became the fest’s highest-profile acquisition, selling to Tom Quinn and Tim League’s Neon for $5 million (over an even larger bid by Netflix).

After catching I, Tonya in Toronto, I wrote: “In the hands of a competent distributor, Robbie could well land a best actress nomination — she wouldn’t be the first beautiful actress to ‘de-glam’ and/or produce her own project and get recognized for doing so (see: Charlize Theron and 2003’s Monster). As for [Allison] Janney, she seems to me like a slam-dunk for a best supporting actress nom [for her portrayal of Harding’s mother] — which would be her first-ever Academy recognition, and hugely deserved.”

During their ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ press day earlier this week, Margot and Domhnal chatted with BBC London News about their new film! BBC have uploaded the interview to their YouTube account, and I have attached it for you below. Screen Captures will be up later today, stay tuned.

Winnie the Pooh is arguably the world’s most famous bear and loved by generations. Now the story of his creator AA Milne, and his real life son, Christopher Robin has inspired a new film. It takes audiences back to the time when the real life animal, a black bear from Winnipeg, could be visited and even fed at London Zoo. Alice Bhandhukravi spoke to two of the film’s stars Margo Robbie and Domhnall Gleeson.

Margot will be on the cover of Wonderland Magazine‘s autumn 2017 issue, and we finally have a preview! She looks amazing, rocking the same yellow eyeshadow as she wore on the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin‘ premiere earlier this week. You can read more about the issue below, and find the preview cover in our gallery – we hope to have scans and a HQ cover soon! Make sure to pre-order your very own copy here.

Twisted realities and media meltdowns, Wonderland‘s Autumn 17 Issue showcases the talent defining an addictively unpredictable 2017. This season, the unconventional Hollywood star, Robert Pattinson features on our cover, following the runaway success of Good Time at Cannes and whisperings of a potential Academy Award nomination, he’s a world away from his tween blockbuster beginnings. Peering into the mind of a creative in charge, Pattinson has curated a special portfolio of pop culture heroes, icons and radical thinkers shaping his unique universe today. Alongside him, Margot Robbie graces our cover, photographed by Gia Coppola and appearing as an American sweetheart gone bad in the forthcoming biopic I, Tonya. It’s a full throttle ride with the people telling the stories and making the headlines.

Inside, there’s new season fashion from established houses and newcomers alike, a sit-down with Rodarte’s newly turned auteurs, the Mulleavy sisters and their longtime muse, Kirsten Dunst. While elsewhere, we snap Bulgari’s social-super, Jasmine Sanders and bring grime king Skepta and his pal Playboi Carti together for a chat. Last, but by no means least, genre-bending soul star Kali Uchis talks French toast and Flower Boy with eternal troublemaker Tyler, The Creator.

Join us in our double fantasy as we take a ride through the frenzy of 2017, with plenty of fun along the way.

With Margot currently promoting ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin‘ and ‘I, Tonya‘, it can be easy to forget just how busy she has been the past few years, and the fact a trailer has been released for another movie shows it!

Although we don’t hear Margot in this specific trailer, we do know that she is playing the character of ‘Flopsy.‘ As fans of the literature classic will know, ‘Flopsy’ is one third of a set of triplets, the other two sisters called ‘Mopsy‘ and ‘Cottontail‘. These two characters are voiced by Elizabeth Debicki and Daisy Ridley, respectively.

It’s also fun to know that, for the third time, Margot will be appearing in a movie with Domhnall Gleeson!

The synopsis details:

Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne). James Corden voices the character of Peter with playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail. | Source
